Expertise
Our main asset is our highly qualified and motivated team. 25 employees, of which 20 academics, cover the areas of technical physics, technical chemistry, medical technology, micro systems technology, mechatronics, electronic informatics, fiber optics, electrical engineering, sensor technology and manufacturing engineering.
To complete our expertise we can rely on 18 international scientific partners and we work together with over 20 companies from Europe, USA and South Korea.
Facilities
205 m2 of laboratory space, with chemical lab, fiber optics lab, robotic lab, measurement technic lab and electronic lab.
329 m2 of office space;
47 m2 of manufacturing factory for prototype construction.
Location
Situated in the "ecoplus" Technology & Research Center (TFZ) in the city of Wiener Neustadt, 45 km south of Vienna, aprox. 40 min from the Vienna International Airport with easy access over Highway A2 "Südautobahn".
The TFZ houses several other Competence centers with over 200 scientists and is located close to the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt. Nearby the modern center of ion-therapy and research, MedAustron, will be built, offering the most modern radiotherapy for approximated 1200 patients per year. In a later stage also the new municipal hospital of Wiener Neustadt will be constructed in this neighborhood. After finalization over 600 scientists will work in and around the TFZ. This concentration of know-how and technology will also serve for the education of new experts and academics.
