Vision

ACMIT's Vision is to form an organisation platform to be a leading European research institution for innovative medical technology with special focus on Integrated Systems for Minimally Invasive Procedures - including needle based interventions, MIS (Minimally Invasive Surgery), SPA (Single Port Access), and NOTES (Natural Orifice Transluminal Endoscopic Surgery) based on a neutral platform organisation in well established partnership with our company-partners as well as with the medical and scientific community.

Mission

The Mission of ACMIT is

• To establish a neutral platform for Research & Development of new technologies for minimally invasive surgical procedures.
• To establish international partnership with top ranking medical and scientific partners as well as with companies.
• To be an incubator for new products for emerging medical areas, as well as for start up companies, especially to strengthen the Austrian medical technology industry.
• To be a training and education site for young scientists and medical experts.
• To contribute to make future healthcare safer and more efficient.

For this ACMIT offers the appropriate framework conditions like funding and infrastructure.
