Implantable hearing aids – electrode design and insertion tools
Increased flexibility of implantable hearing aids poses new challenges for their handling and insertion.
The project focuses on innovative solutions for related technological requirements and follows two main targets:
- Development of ultra-flexible, multi-channel electrodes for implantable hearing aids with significantly improved sound quality.
- Development of an easy-to-use, miniaturized and multi-functional tool for handling, moving and positioning of the electrode inside the human ear.
